Synopsis

• Peter and Lois go to buy a second car, but as usual, Peter refuses to listen to Lois's good advice and ends up without a car. Peter gets an offer from the mob to steal his car so he can get insurance to pay for another one, and, despite warnings from his friend, he takes the deal. Of course, shortly thereafter, the mob comes to ask for a favor. The Don wants Peter to take his annoying nephew, Big Fat Paulie, out to the movies. After annoying the entire family, Peter tells Paulie that he can't hang out with him anymore because Lois doesn't like him, so Paulie takes out a hit on Lois.

Trivia

• When the Griffins get their new car, there is a far-away camera shot of the house, with their new car in the driveway. In the shot, the car looks like a Volkswagen Beetle, but in a closer scene, the car looks completely different. It is much more square in shape.
• Lois points out that the red car Peter wants to buy only has a drawing of an engine, yet Peter is somehow able to make it go forward.
• When Peter goes to meet Big Fat Paulie so they can watch the movie, he is wearing a tie. While they are in the theater, the tie disappears. When Peter and Paulie go to Peter's house for dinner, the tie is then back on Peter.
