Episode Guide Order
Apr 11 2008, 3:59 AM EDT
Could I ask, just this once that we do the episode guide in the order they are in the Season DVD's and not what it says on other websites. Who cares when they aired? That doesn't mean they weren't in the same Season. If we did the episode guide exactly like the DVD's then the episode guide will be less confusing to everyone plus it'll make this website different from the rest of the other Family Guy websites.Who's with me? The Season 1 episode guide has now got all of the episodes that the Season DVD has and it's in the same order as the DVD. Now the rest have to be done as well because of doing Season 1 like this Season 2 is probably wrong as well and it'll have a knock on effect for the rest of them.

All the Season episode guides are now set exactly like the DVD's except for Season 7 because I don't have a clue about the episodes that are in that one.

ok, now i am REALY confused, the way you set it up we are missing like over 40 episodes up there,. the seasons are longer than 14 episodes and now all the other ones are missing, we are not past 7 seasons and with the way you have them set up we would be on season 14 by now if all the epiodes were in there. i am just curious, where did all the other episodes go! do you have the real DVDS or downloaded ones? just curious, cause now none of this makes sence Do you find this valuable? |

"ok, now i am REALY confused,I have all the real DVD's up to Season 6 plus the two special straight to DVD movies (Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story and Blue Harvest). Read the message I put on the Season 7 episode guide page and it'll all make sense. Do you find this valuable? |

"ok, but i cant find it. "That's because I deleted the message and re-named the page: Un-Season-ed DVD Episodes and that's where you'll find the list of all of the missing episodes. Do you find this valuable? |

Originally I agreed that this was probably the best method. However, I'm having doubts. For one thing, the table on Season 2 is gone, so that the episodes 8-29 ("Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater"--"When You Wish Upon a Weinstein") have no links to them other than the navigation bar on the left. Also, the way Wikipedia has the episodes set up is totally different and utterly confusing. I don't want to sound conformist, but if people are confused then they will simply go to Wikipedia and use that guide. Not to mention the fact that a lot of people who like Family Guy don't have the DVDs, which makes things even more confusing. For me, the air date is important because it is easily accessible, as opposed to the order of episodes on the DVDs. Plus, when we do things by the DVD we end up with a list of episodes not on the DVDs, which adds even more variables. We certainly don't have to cut-and-paste use the same formula as any other website, and we don't absolutely have to change it at all. My intention is not to complain--I am willing to change it all to another format myself if that would agree with what the majority of us want. If not, then I'll at least fix the Season Two page so that there's a list of the episodes again. Do you find this valuable? |
